What we do as a church
We believe God called us to live in deep relationship with Him and with each other. Our church is a place where people can develop friendships with their neighbours and their Creator.
"For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body - Jews or Greeks, slaves or free - and all were made to drink of one Spirit. For the body does not consist of one member but of many." - 1 Corinthians 12:12-14
We believe that Jesus calls us to follow and worship Him. To do this well we teach, mentor, and support one another as a church to grow in faith and become more like Jesus.
"Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love." - Ephesians 3:15-16
We believe that God is calling us individually and as a community to humbly serve others. Our church is always looking for opportunities to bless our congregation and the Willowdale community through prayer and action.
“Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all.” - Mark 10:43-44
We believe that the message of God’s love for all humankind is to be shared. Our church feels called to tell and live out this love to our families, communities and around the world.
"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age." - Matthew 28:19-20
